Hello hello… and happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great week and is having a great day so far :)
When it comes to fashion, there is no right or wrong. Fashion is whatever you want it to be. It is classified as a way of dressing, but to me it’s not JUST that. Fashion is art. Fashion is a way of life. Fashion is a way of expression for so many people. Fashion acts as a voice to people and can truly make a statement. Fashion is universal. It is happiness, hope, dreams and reality. Fashion is beautiful.
Yes, that was a little deep I KNOW, but it’s TRUE. When you think about it on a deeper level, fashion is all of these things and more. It’s not just clothes and shoes. Of course, if you’re looking at it black and white it might be just clothes, shoes, accessories etc, but again it is so much more. Fashion is always changing. It literally evolves every second and it gives people opportunities to dress how they want so they feel beautiful which IS beautiful. People can express who they are and who they want to be through fashion.
To me, fashion is everything. If you know me, you know that I am constantly saying “fashion is my passion,” and thats because it is. I was lucky enough to study retail merchandise and product development, in other words, fashion at Florida State University. I was able to learn about this competitive industry and figure out more or less what side of fashion I was most interested in. Like I said though, fashion is always changing, therefore, the areas I am interested in are changing as well. All the aspects involved in fashion are great and I feel both honored and blessed to be working in the industry. Right now however, things are on hold due to what is happening in the world. I have side projects that are within the industry, but due to COVID things are a little rough right now. I am a big believer that opportunities come with time. I am excited to learn more about this industry and to evolve alongside it.
